succeed@school 2011-2012 seminar series for parents of children with special needs
Come and see what 21st century mobile learning is all about in special education!
Back for our second year! This innovative series for parents/caregivers of children/adolescents with special needs aims to:
- Empower parents with information and knowledge of assistive technology and mobile learning in order to help their child at home and in school;
- Provide parents with innovative, research-driven best practices in the area of special education.
Upcoming sessions focus on assistive technology-hardware and software specifically designed for the child with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and developmental delay. These tools can have an enormous impact on academic skills and self-confidence. Although seminars will be given in English, we are happy to address questions and have a discussion in French.
