First up is teaching core vocabulary which has had a huge impact on the field of AAC and is essential to teach AAC effectively.

World Autism Awareness Day 2012

World Autism Awareness Day is April 2nd, part of April’s Autism Awareness Month — an official declaration by the United Nations in 2007. This day encourages individuals across the globe to take measures to raise awareness about the prevalence and rate of autism in our society as well as encourages early diagnosis and early intervention. We wanted to thank all the developers working to help raise awareness and have listed some of our favourite apps in different areas to support individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

Thanks to all the families who came to our May event with Apple! It looks like our June event with Apple is full, so we will not be able to take any further registration.
