We’re still using all of the apps we recommended in Part 1 of Apps to improve organizational skills for students with learning disabilities – but we wanted to add 9 MORE that we think are highly effective for students with learning disabilities.
Welcome to Part 11 of “There’s A Special App For That†series on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad apps for students with special needs. In Part 11, we focus on creative apps for digital storytelling. These apps can help teachers and parents start a digital storytelling initiative in their school or home for their students and children with special needs.
World Autism Awareness Day is April 2nd, part of April’s Autism Awareness Month — an official declaration by the United Nations in 2007. This day encourages individuals across the globe to take measures to raise awareness about the prevalence and rate of autism in our society as well as encourages early diagnosis and early intervention. We wanted to thank all the developers working to help raise awareness and have listed some of our favourite apps in different areas to support individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
